      Job Title- AVP – Technology Manager

      Location- Mumbai

      Role Description

      The role covers a broad spectrum of activities within the Market Data Strategy and Transformation team, focusing on Agile Transformation, Jira Roadmap, Project management Infrastructure and Licenses, Cost Optimization and ADC/RTB Transformation. This role offers the benefit of direct engagement with the MDS, MDT, FIC Tech CIO and their leadership team. On the job training and coaching will be provided to allow the successful candidate to develop further in this space. It will also give them the opportunity to choose a career path into more technical delivery should they choose to pursue that.

      Your key responsibilities

      Agile Transformation/Jira Roadmap Tracking and Reporting – 50%

      Working Group support – Jira Status Updates, Roadmap reporting, initiative execution tracking and action management

      Work in Agile teams and help them embrace agile practices

      Drive different market data technology teams in jira adoption

      Leading domain working sessions

      ADC/RTB Cost Reduction Initiative support for FIC Tech Strategy and Transformation Lead 20%

      Work with FIC Production Support leadership team on production initiatives, track actions and work with Finance to track savings

      Work on TDI ADC Transformational activities, lead domain working sessions, track actions to completion.

      Licenses Spend Management – 10%

      Support controls enhancements and Governance management

      Coordinate Vendor reviews with License ELO

      Work with finance and COO functions around cost management/cost tracking

      Support the build out of MDT Confluence site and FIC Tech communication strategy (newsletter, weekly emails) - 10%

      Provide cover for other Project Managers on the team during periods of absence – 10%

      Your skills and experience

      The role will suit a candidate that is self-starter, with great enthusiasm and drive to achieve more and better. The candidate needs to have strong jira skills, excel skills and robust project management knowledge in order to be successful in Program Planning and Execution

      • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in program management, preferably in central teams driving strategy and transformation
      • Experience working in Agile teams and an understanding of Agile practices.
      • Experience in working with jira’s, jira roadmaps and jira dashboards
      • Proficiency leading meetings to ensure they are solutions-focused.
      • Experience helping Agile teams to establish and adhere to norms and practices.
      • Ability to collaborate with team members to track jira status, address challenges and roadblocks hampering progress.
      • A continuous improvement mind-set and dedication to finding creative ways of working.
      • Ability to influence behavior without having formal organizational hierarchy.
      • A dedication to cross-function collaboration, communication and breaking down of silos
      • Excellent written and verbal communication
      • Enable organizational change in how we approach our work
      • Model behaviors to support the organizational transformation to a new way of working
      • Provide constructive feedback to team members to help drive Agile maturity
      • Demonstrable experience in governing or supporting projects to successful conclusions
      • Proven ability to effectively assess and mitigate project risks and dependencies
      • Experienced in effectively communicating with and positively influencing project stakeholders and team members
      • The candidate must be flexible and comfortable in an international environment / matrix organization with diverse senior stakeholders at different levels of the organization
      • Undergraduate Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent diploma / work experience)
      • Certified SAFE Agilist or Certified Scrum Master or Prince2 or PMI professional qualifications such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) desirable
